Courtney Thorne-Smith is an American actor, producer, and writer with an estimated net worth of $8.5 million. Thorne Smith is well-known for her character Alison Parker on Fox's "Melrose Place" (1992-1997), Georgia Thomas on Fox's "Ally McBeal" (1997-2002), Cheryl Mabel on ABC's "According to Jim" (2001-2009) and Lyndsey McElroy on CBS' "Two and a Half Men" (2010-2015). Courtney has over 30 credits, including the movies "Revenge of the Nerds II: Nerds in Paradise", "Summer School" as well as "Chairman of the board" (1998). Thorne-Smith has also been a part of the television series "Fast Times", "Day By Day", and "L.A. Law", (1988-1989), and the tv series "Fast Times", "Day By Day" (1988-1989), "L.A. Law" (1990) and "Fa. Thorne Smith created the mini-series Past Malice (2017-2019), published "Outside In", and was a spokesperson for Almay cosmetics. Courtney was born in Menlo Park, San Mateo County. Her parents, Lora Thorne (a psychologist) and Walter Smith, (a computer market researcher), divorced at the age of seven. Courtney was just seven years old. Following the divorce, Thorne-Smith lived with both parents in different stages of her life. Courtney's older sibling, Jennifer, works in advertising.
